The Travel Authority (TTA) is the largest American Express travel representative, offering personal service for businesses, vacation packages, meeting and incentives and online travel services.


As a travel agency, TTA’s website is their main medium of marketing. Unfortunately, their website did not allow for custom searches and thus did not provide an optimal user experience. First and foremost, TTA’s website needed a user interface that allowed for more interaction and seamlessly connected consumers with agents. The company had designed a plan that would prompt visitors to contact agents through the website as a “next step” when booking flights. TTA’s


ALTOUR Tech took this project on with the goal to make the website more user-friendly and ultimately strengthen the call to action to connect with an agent. Our team began this project by reviewing the analytics and the user experience to understand how the site was being used. We also compiled best practices to apply to the new site.

The redesigned website was the solution to TTA’s challenge. Not only does it allow for easy searches through the Booking Engine software, it also provides users with access to travel information and a live agent. The new website drew more users to book travel through TTA than ever before. In addition to increased good user experience, the website also includes a utilities feature that enables easy analysis reporting by admin users.
