The mission of Creative Interns is to connect employers in the creative industry to qualified interns.


Creative Interns came to ALTOUR Tech looking for a technology partner to develop a platform for connecting employers and qualified interns. They needed to develop an interactive website and build a database to manage users, as well as integrate social media for wide search and sharing capability.


Our team developed a user-friendly website that met their needs. Its membership feature allows both employers and interns to share information on customizable personal pages. The employer pages feature internship opportunities and information on the organization, while the intern pages allow the user to showcase their resume and portfolio, allowing for a seamless matchmaking process to take place.

The membership feature was developed in two ways; from the user-end it offered a custom dashboard and from the administrative end it fed membership data into a database that can be managed in-house. In addition to the membership feature, our team implemented an API called authorized.net, an e-commerce application that allows for online purchases. Employers or interns who want to create or renew an account could securely and smoothly make payments through authorized.net.

We also helped our Creative Interns understand the power of SEO to support their business model. Our team embedded Google analytic into the website to monitor activity. We also integrated social media tools like Twitter and Facebook to make sharing amongst users easier.
